Customer Reviews:
"This head generates excellent pressure at only 2.5gpm and full coverage. It feels like more pressure than my generic showerhead with regulator removed, which allows 3.7gpm.The water flow of this Delta looks quite messy, but is not bad.The air that is added to the water to boost pressure does make it sting ever so slightly, but not as bad as most showerheads that use air to boost pressure.(The Oxygenics Trispa uses similar technology but it really hurts if you have average water pressure.)The build quality is excellent too.
I have tried over 10 showerheads recently, and this one has the 2nd best pressure of all of them.(The "best" one stings too much.)I highly recommend this showerhead. It is the one I plan to keep using.Sadly, it does not come in a handheld version. " – M. Victory "Engineer & Skeptic"

"I first saw the flowise in a TV documentary about energy consumption and things alike. After trying a few of the lo-flow showerheads in my house (mostly because my wife likes the water really hot - and she would run out of hot water before the end of her shower) we were making do with them (we have 3 full bathrooms) - they weren't bad, but they weren't good either.FloWise is definitively a step up. Even in the "mix mode", it is still 2gpm, which is great. But the savings mode is good enough for a pleasure shower - and we now have enough left over hot water so I can shower right after her, if I want to - impossible to do before.I love the fact that once you turn the mix mode on (2gpm), it will automatically revert to 1.5gpm after you turn off the water - which is great, because she showers on 1.5, I shower on 2.0 (I use half the hot water she uses) - we would definitively forget to put it back, and she would probably end up with "warm water" at the end of her shower... "We purchased this after our much-loved Moen showerhead suddenly died. I was skeptical of the 1.5GPM and how forceful the spray would be. We received this yesterday and are STUNNED by how nice this is! Spray is strong, with no "spitting" of water. The dial can be adjusted from a strong spray to medium to gentle, and there is a very forceful pulsating massage spray as well. I would never have guessed that the flow is only 1.5GPM. I'd highly recommend this to others- the price is reasonable and the H20 savings will be significant as well. Overall this a great product for our environment and also for the wallet! " – J. Hetzel
Customer Reviews:
"I've tried several low flow showerheads now, and I like this the best. It is better than the kind that mix air in, because those are loud. This gives good pressure, and feels almost the same as a regular 2.5 GPM showerhead, while only using 1.5 GPM, saving water, heat, money, and carbon footprint! I'm very impressed actually. (So impressed that I bothered to write this review - which I hardly ever do.) " – reader "reader"

"I am living in an apt complex in AZ while I rehab a house. The maintenance man told me all showerheads were being replaced with Lo-Flow types.(I had actually complained about hot water running out-another story)He replaced the old one with some incredibly goofy lo-flo model that had the pressure of a child peeing on my head. I had had one of these Whedon's 30 years ago in another home. For real! I found one here. These aren't going to give any luxurious massage or rainforest duplication, but if you want to conserve water, and have a great basic shower with very decent pressure, get this little guy! It's great! I have below shoulder length hair and I can have a nice clean experience in 10-14 minutes tops with the works! The added bonus is the shut-off valve...you can leave it at trickle while hot water gets to the showerhead, or turn it off for lathering. Just depends on how green you want to go.Buy it! "I purchased the fluidics showerhead after reading reviews from other sources and it's everything they say it is.I actually like it better than my old 2.5 gpm showerhead, and it's saving me money to boot.
This uses about a 3rd less water than the 2.5 gpm showerhead that came with the house, which if you consider a 15 minute shower is about 13 gallons of water per shower.Compound this daily and its about 5000 gallons of water saved per year per person.
Originally my wife thought she wouldn't want one in her bathroom since she thought it would be detrimental to her showering habits, but now she uses my shower to much, so I'm back to buy another one, this time for her shower.Kudos on super saver shipping since it makes this an easy task. Customer Reviews:
"We bought this showerhead since it was on sale when we walked by it in a store and had just built a new home. In our apartment days I tried numerous showerheads and believe me, I'm not easy to please. It was easy to install (usually showerheads are). The first time we tried it we were impressed. It has three settings normal (which has nice pressure and water spread), medium (which is not my fave) and hard (which gets through my thick hair). It simply sprays out the cold water and when it bcomes warm it holds it to a trickle (saving us on our water bill). I like it so much I told my parents and since they sounded highly interested...I'm going to buy them one for Christmas.
Ps. if you ever want more harsh flow through your showerhead, take out the restricter. " – Danielle N. Culler "1Cor13:8"
Customer Reviews:
"I bought these to reduce water use by my roommates. The flow was substantially reduced, and the force of the spay is medium/low. This low force was desirable in my half-bath because the previous aerator had so much force it would splash water everywhere.
These would not be recommended if it is necessary to fill the sink frequently because it would take forever. Also note that the spray pattern is laminar, meaning it uses a bunch of tiny solid streams instead of mixing a bunch of air into the water. " – Jon Brooks

"I like how easy it is to install this shower system. The water pressure is also great! All 5 functions work well. I love the flexibility that a hand held shower provides. A very nice shower system over all. " – TaH

"I first encountered this shower head traveling through New Mexico in a motel.I liked it so much that I took a picture with my phone and ordered one when I got back home.I like it much better than the Water Pick that it replaced. " – Richard Dokken
Many opponents of water saving showerhead say they feel shortchanged by the reduced pressure in the water. The tendency is for them to take a longer-than-usual shower to make up for the less water pressure. This, of course, naturally cancels out the showerhead water savings. Consequently, they don’t bother installing the water-saving showerhead anymore. One sure thing though, We all like a good shower,

"No place local carries this shower head so I bought it on Amazon. You would never know your using a low flow shower head.It is much better then any other low flow I have used. The drops of water are large and not small mist like some other heads. The water pattern also works great and covers you entire body. The water is a little cooler coming out so you have to use a little more hot water but where I live they are having a 20% reduction in water use so that works out.If they made this in a hand held model it would be fantastic. "Let me start by saying that I did NOT purchase this shower head.We live in HUD housing and maintenance installed this for us yesterday. With the shower head we had before, we pretty much could not take a shower--it used more water than taking a bath! The difference is amazing!Wonderful pressure and yet the tub was essentially empty throughout my entire shower.I am very pleased! " – M. Peacock
Customer Reviews:
"This is a chrome metal shower head and hose that attaches to common water pipes found in most showers here in the USA.What you get is a pretty complete kit, including the shower head, flexible hose (the hose itself is about 5 1/2 foot long, but with the head attached is about 6 foot), a mount fixture that allows the shower head to be aimed when you need two hand for other things, three washers, and even a small roll of plumbers tape. The only thing missing is the slip or pipe wrench needed to install it.That you find in your local hardware store.
This is a low water flow design with plastic restrictors at both ends of the hose.If that doesn't suit you, the restrictors can be drilled out, but be careful if you choose to do so.I left mine in, and the water pressure was adequate.
First use was great, pressure was good and the ability to both aim the water spray and direct the water by hand is priceless.
And best of all, it's affordable. " – R. Sheridan

"works perfectly.use it for the shower my kids use.they would tend to turn on water and be every where but the shower.they think it is cool.has good spray too. " – Eric J. Marx
Customer Reviews:
"I bought this a few months because the price was right and our old shower head just didn't spray as well as it should. Good quality for the price and the shower spray has a good level of pressure. If you want a great shower head and you don't want to spend a lot of money, you will love this. " – Matt Lyon
How clean do we really need to be? We live in a society that emphasizes and puts a premium on beauty and cleanliness, which isn’t bad. Showering is a must, but since we shower everyday, we can make a big difference in the amount of water saving we do for the planet. But certainly don’t need that much water every time we shower. Do water saving shower heads compromise shower quality? Some people think a showerhead water saving isn’t worth it, for every shower they take. As if a frugal low-flow showerhead shortchanges them somehow, in terms of amount of water, and the water pressure. Consequently, even if they installed a water-saving shower head, the tendency is for them to take longer showers each time. What happens is that they’re actually spending the same amount of water as showering without any water-saving devices at all. So, the question remains, To water saving showerhead or not to water saving showerhead?
Kinds of Shower Heads
Maybe it all depends on how much you want your house to be as green as possible. No doubt, you can make a head start with a water saving showerhead. But you can also do more than just buying one and simply installing it.
The Bottom Line
For one, keep the water at the right temperature so you won’t need to run it while waiting for it to get warm. At the first instance that you find your shower leaking, fix it right away, and don’t wait one minute to do it. If you’re really serious about water saving, take only quick showers, or use a timer or even an alarm clock to keep your usage to the ideal number of liters. And perhaps, the best water saving tip of all, shower with a friend.
