Customer Reviews:
"After being disappointed in two different Black & Decker shears (both of which refused to recharge after limited usage), these shears are a comparative delight. They're lighter weight, the angle of the blades is adjustable, the recharging really seems to work (I've used them for up to an hour, without any sign of their exhausting their charge), and the blades are easy to clean. They cut through heavy grass like it wasn't there, whereas the B&D shears would jam when cutting through more dense clumps.

The only "negative" I can give them is:I wish there were a trigger lock.

It'll be interesting to see how they perform next season, after a winter of non-use.

Though more expensive than several other makes, I decided than one set of these shears is less expensive than two (or more) sets of a lesser-quality shear.Life's too short to spend hours waiting for your shears to charge enough to trim around a hedge, then go flat.

"As noted in my review of the Gardena Grass Shears the product came damaged so I sent them back.Once I received the replacement I was glad that I had made my purchase. The Shears worked great. It was kind of a pain bending down all of the time so I was even happier with them after the handle came.Works great and no pain! Customer Reviews:
"Nice product.Could use a tiny bit more power though. The grass clipper works OK.Run time is about 20 minutes so it works good on my small gardens and yard. The best part is the hedge trimmer attachment. It works great on small hedges.Might note ever need to get those big heavy clippers out again.Stays charged even when stored off the charge due to the battery type.So for me the Worx Works. " – OnQ 4U

Customer Reviews:
"Unfortunately, for such a handy product, the sharpness of the blades does not last beyond a few uses. Even filing the blades to re-sharpen them does not work.Be prepared to replace the blades often, which are not cheap. It's a shame the quality of the blades is so poor--probably the cheap metal used--because it damages the reputation of Black and Decker. Customer Reviews:
"Works best for trimming shrubs that are not too dense or with really hard stems. Works best if you are able to hold the top of stems and cut below -- and it's easier for cleanup too. Lightweight and easy to handle. Not tiring. The cordless feature is great. Great box for storing. I had no problem with the battery charging as others have. The charge lasted long enough for me to do the trimming. I think it lives up to its description. " – RiverGarden

"I've been very pleased with this shrubber.I was skeptical after reading the reviews but after a few days I can truly say I've been pleased. My shrubs had become very overgrown, but this shrubber did the trick on them and cut them down to size in no time at all, even larger branches.I was expecting the battery charge to last me only a few bushes at a time, but it keeps going and going!!Yesterday I worked on a dozen shrubs for an hour and a half until I was tired out and the shrubber still had a little charge left!So I'm sold on this little dynamo! "For the small price and power, I didn't have any great expectations. Was I surprized? After years of using a garden weasel to cullivate and weed a medium size garden may back and patiences were dwindling. This product finished that back breaking job in just over a hour. I was actually looking for more places to cultivate. It brought back the fun in gardening. Some areas of my garden were pretty packed, but this guy dug down and loosened everything up in fine fashion. The battery charge lasted about as long a I wanted to work before taking a quick breather. The recharge is quick, getting it back up to full speed in less than 30 minutes. Just make sure you use it with the intended purchase; culivate, aerate, & weed. Beware of large tree roots.

I would say this is a Garden Weasel on steriods.

"These hedge clippers are a pretty good buy.. I have a lawn business, I really thought these clippers would be a little bigger in Teeth diameter. I have some pretty big hedges in my routes, these preformed ok, I must say that i will be getting 22" next time i buy a set. The battery did last along time for what i was doing, also bought extra battery for my bigger jobs. The one thing i don't like is that when you use your hedger and the battery goes dead that if the battery is to warm when you put onto charger it shows a green light. The battery must have to be cooled down for the charger to start charging ,indicated by a red light.
But thats the way my father-laws are also and he has a different brand.
Over all happy with these hedge clippers ....

The second way is you may find somebody and pay them to clean out the grasses in your backyard. Some people may not like having somebody do their lawns or may not feel comfortable having an unknown person in their backyard. However, these persons who are hired are experienced gardeners and may have the appropriate tools to take care of your garden and take out the weeds that may harm the plants. Most wild and ugly grasses may take a bigger portion of minerals coming from the soil and may create conflict about who will get the most minerals from the soil. In that case, your most valued plants will have a mineral storage.

Finally, I would suggest for you to take the time to explore other garden tools. You might want to try using a cordless grass shear. How do cordless grass shear works? Well, unlike other ordinary garden tools, the cordless grass shear is operated by electricity. Most house or garden owners do not buy this type of garden tool. The usual buyers of this product are gardeners whose main job is to manage gardens. Some house owners though buy this product so that they could clean their backyard on their own. In fact, today more house owners are using this product for their garden.

Customer Reviews:
"The hedge trimmer works superbly and it is so light you don't even get tired cutting 300 feet of a six foot hedge. The major downside is the battery. I read many reviews of this product that pointed out problems with battery function and so I was extra careful following the instructions and even keeping it in the house rather than the garage so it wouldn't catch a cold. After ten charges it died anyway. Good product but let's get a better battery! If you don't mind paying about $40 bucks a year to replace the battery in return for a well functioning, convenient, light trimmer, I give it a five. " – Gregory J. Furke

Customer Reviews:
"This top Gardena model shrubber has two 3.6v lithium-ion batteries which gives it a long running time. I've used it for 2.5 hours without recharging. Not even showing a yellow light warning of half charge.Unfortunately, that 2.5 hours included about 1/2 time not running because I had to use my manual hedge shears for about 1/2 my shrubs. It is simply ineffective for dense, internally moist and/or woody shrubs.Still, I found it useful to give my arms and back a rest from using the shears throughout. As other reviewers of other shrubbers have pointed out, you need to determine on what shrubs such a device is effective, and limit its use to them.Incidentally, the lithium-ion Gardena cuts about the same as my old NiCd Black and Decker at half the price or so, but much less running time.I also own electric-corded and gas powered hedge trimmers. I prefer the combination of the Gardena and manual shears. " – R. Porter

Customer Reviews:
"I agree with what was said in the earlier review. My own comparison is with the 10 year old B&D 22" electric that it replaced.I was impressed in that it gives up nothing in terms of power.I used it today for the first time on my 150' of hedges and lots of other bushes, especially hugh forsythias. It did all the trimming with no sign at all of battery fatigue. It's much smoother in operation than the old one. There are two things I didn't like about it.The forward handle is made so that it's only comfortable to hold at the top and not at the sides as in the old models. Also, as was said, there's not a lock-on switch. You have to hold the switch on.They did that, no doubt, for safety reasons, but that's probably where the fatigue enters. Many folks will rig up a clip to achieve the same thing. On the otherhand, the cordless grass shear is the most amazing and most desirable grass shear in my opinion. Cordless grass shears are of course cordless. That means that you do not have to think about wires around you and your equipment. You can work around every corner of your garden. There are no limits as to how far you’d want to go around your garden. The only problem is basically the amount of time you can continuously work with the equipment. Since it is cordless, it can only be powered by a battery that may take up to two hours of continuous work which is quite enough. If the battery runs out of power, you can simply recharge the battery for an hour or less. Afterwhich you can start working once again.

There are certain pre-cautions that a person should consider when using a cordless grass shear but have we discussed the cordless grass shears’ other features and the benefits we can get from using it?

1. battery working duration

2. blade sturdiness

3. device power

4. safety locks

5. blades edginess

6. fast spin for the blades

Ask the cordless grass shear seller about how many hours you can use the product on the field and how many hours do you have to charge the device.

Of course, make sure that the cordless grass shear you will buy has some safety features to protect the user and the equipment.

Most cordless grass shears can only last for a year. It is important to dissect each part of the cordless grass shear to see if its strong enough to be used on strong weeds and grasses.

The blades of a cordless grass shear has to be sharp enough to cut strong and hard weeds. Some ordinary cordless grass shears could not handle hard weeds and if it is forced to cut certain sturdy weeds, it might get broken.
