The Powerline Network Kit includes everything you need to connect computers, printers, games consoles, all around your home and turn your home’s wiring into a digital network, instantly. Enjoy video, gaming, and Internet connection wherever you want it.

Setup is really simple. You will receive two of the Linksys network adapters inside your kit. One plugs in where your hi-speed internet modem is into the electrical outlet, and into your modem via ethernet cable. The other adapter gets plugged in where you want to set up your other networked computer(s). For example, we have computers on our upstairs 3rd floor, as well as in the basement. The basement needs internet access, so we would set up the second adapter down there. Once it’s plugged in, you’re ready to start communicating and sharing amongst network computers, printers, storage drives, Internet modems, and other digital devices.

The Linksys Powerline Network Kit is designed to deliver speeds up to 85 Mbps, which is more that enough for all our needs including streaming music and video, playing online games, sharing photos, access storage drives, and much more. It has networking standards of IEEE 802.3 Type 10Base-T and IEEE 802.3u Type 100Base-TX as well as the innovative HomePlug AV technology which allows data transfer rates of up to 200Mbps.
